LOVE this place!!! The food is outstanding, as well as the service. I come here all the time and they are well worth the time and money--which is affordable!! I highly recommend JV's for whatever appeals to your appetite!!!

I think we just found our favorite hidden taco joint... so if you're contemplating about going, you should just go and give it a try. The sizes are as they say, HUMONGOUS! And decently priced too!!! We got the al pastor burrito, carneasada tacos, and carneasada fries, and devoured it all. We came on a Tuesday, so there was a nice Taco Tuesday deal too! 3 tacos and a drink for almost $7. Service was friendly and quick. Restaurant is good for large groups. We'll be back for sure!

Food: 3 stars Service: 5 stars Got the lengua tacos and California burrito. Lengua was super tender, but otherwise felt that the flavor of the food didn't really hit. The burrito had a little too much sour cream, guac had the oxidized taste to it, and carne asada was a bit dry. overall not too flavorful. Service is great though - super friendly and feels homey so deserves an extra star for that!

This is my second time visiting from out of town, and JV's has not disappointed me. Parking lot is kind of tight, but there's a few street parking. Service and the wait time for your order is pretty quick. Their burrito is huge and tastes amazing! Will be back here again next time!

Best blue collar Mexican food place around. Huge portions and the food prices are from 2002 or something. They are so reasonable for these massive plates of amazing food that come out of the back. Service is fast and very friendly. Looks like a lot of locals and repeat customers. I loved my carne torta. Just the right proportions of beans, to greens, to meat to bread. Big squirt bottles of red and green salsa are brought to your table with your order to use at your discretion. My wife got the quesadilla and again, it was massive. I can't wait to come back. Not pretty and bougie. Just great food at a great price.

A legit lil whole in the wall(respectfully).. Stopped by after a long day at Sea World. You can see the Tacos ain't no joke! Babies are pretty big. Yes, it's a disappointment to see them naked, but my child insist on plain plain plain! He really enjoyed them and was full! The food taste pretty good, and they were not stingy with the Guac! The salsa was good not spicy, though. There was a steady flow of customers as we dined in! Very chill vibe. You can tell it's family owned by the pictures on the wall and supports their local community. They have a huge menu that, hopefully, we'll get familiar with as we continue our Sea world trips!
